Welcome to The Lanterns, a locally led Tasmanian development, thoughtfully brought to life by a Bridport-based family with deep ties to the community and the landscape.
This project was shaped not only with aesthetic vision, but with a genuine care for the town and its future, developing a modern landmark that feels like it belongs.
Inspired by the concept of verticality, and evoking a vision of shipping containers, The Lanterns act as beacons, drawing you closer, signalling their strength, standing tall among the native trees and coastal setting.
Inside, experience the refined blend of steel, timber, and local stone as it meets soft textures and coastal calm. You’re now in a space that feels both untouched and deeply considered. There is elegance here, but it doesn’t seek attention. It’s found in the details, the craftsmanship, and the thoughtfulness behind every material choice and spatial experience.
